Approximately 90 Air Travels Associated to Jeffrey Epstein Allegedly Landed at or Took Off from UK Airfields
An investigation has identified that nearly 90 aircraft journeys associated to Jeffrey Epstein are said to have touched down at and left UK airfields, with some allegedly having onboard British women who allege they were victimized by the found guilty sex offender.
Aviation Records Uncover Trail of Movement
The flight logs were part of a trove of court documents and files released by Epstein’s estate that have been disclosed over the previous twelve months. The analysis found 87 aircraft movements linked to Epstein – encompassing many that were not previously known – arriving or departing from British airfields between the start of the 1990s and 2018.
Passenger Details and Post-Conviction Travel
Unnamed female passengers were recorded among the travelers travelling into and out of the UK. Crucially, 15 of these flights involving the UK happened following Epstein’s 2008 guilty verdict for soliciting sex from a underage person.
“This is ‘appalling’ that there had never been a ‘thorough probe in the UK’ into his operations in the country,” stated American attorneys representing numerous Epstein victims.
British Victims and Legal Proceedings
Evidence from one of the UK-based survivors aided the conviction of Epstein’s associate Ghislaine Maxwell of child sex-trafficking in the US in 2021. But, that victim has not received any contact by police in the UK, as stated by her attorney based in Florida.
In a statement, the the Met said they had “not received any additional information that would support restarting the investigation.” They added, “If fresh and pertinent information be presented to us, including any resulting from the release of documents in the US, we will evaluate it.”
Continuing Document Release and Judicial Decisions
Proposed legislation to release all files held by the American government in concerning Epstein passed the House and Senate last month. The US justice department has until 19 December to adhere to this requirement. A vast number of files are projected to be released.
In a related development, a federal judge decided last week that the DOJ could publicly release evidence from a sex-trafficking case against Maxwell, Epstein’s long-term associate, who is currently serving a 20-year jail term over the allegations.
